All Beauty Secret Clinique clients personal details are kept securely and privately and are not passed on to third parties.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment tome to allow yourself time to complete our client detail form. All personal data taken from clients will be kept secure and held in the strictest confidence.
UNDER 18 BOOKINGS
We are happy to take bookings for teenahers. however parent or quardian will be required to be in attendance whilst the treatment is carried out.
Patch testing is required for some of the treatments. You will be informed, if patch test is required in time of treatment booking
Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, therefore please try to give us a minimum of 24 hours notice should you wish to cancel or reshedule your appointment. Please note that we charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the full treatment value if an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled giving less than 24 hours notice.
Missed appointments will be charged at the full treatment price taken before your next appointment.
Appointment of 2 hours or more require 48 hours notice.

No shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
We will take your payment details at the time of booking an appointment with us.
It is very difficult to fill appointments at short notice, but if we do we will not charge you a cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel, please give us a call or use our online booking system. Please don’t text, email or put a message on social media.
Before we take your payment details to cover a cancellation charge or a deposit or advance payment, we will confirm:
· The service or treatment you have booked.
· The salon name, location and contact details.
· The total price (including any taxes) of the service or treatment booked or how the price will be calculated if an exact price cannot be given.
· The time and date of the appointment.
A deposit of 50% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged if you:
· missed your last appointment with us; or
· are a new client; or
· are booking online; or
· are booking for an appointment lasting more than two hours, such as permanent make up or a laser treatment, or for a series of appointments.
The deposit will be taken when you book your appointment and will be taken off your bill when you pay for the service or treatment you have received. The deposit will be fully refunded if you cancel, as long as you give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
If you give us less than 48 hours’ notice but we are able to fill the appointment, we will either refund the deposit or put it towards the cost of your next appointment.
The deposit will be fully refunded if a service or treatment is unsuitable for you or cannot be provided for any reason.
We will take payment in full at the time of booking:
· for an appointment lasting more than two hours, such as permanent make up or a laser treatment; or
· if you missed your last appointment with us.
In case of a late cancellation or no-show, we will keep an amount of the advance payment that genuinely reflects the loss we have suffered as a result of the late cancellation or no-show.
If we are able to fill your slot, we will only keep an amount of the advance payment which covers our costs of finding another client.
KEEPING TO TIME
As a courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time and would be charged full price of booked appointment. Please, do not ask the impossible, we will endeavour to carry out what we can within the time slot allocated.
Gift cards expire 6 months after date of purchase. In extreme cases we may be able to extend your gift card but this must be done before the gift card expires.
Gift cards are non refundable and have no cash value.
Gift cards can be used on services, products or courses. Gift cards will not be accepted if not physically given at time of check out. If you forget your gift card, you will be required to make alternative payment and use the gift card on a future service.
At Beauty Secret Clinique you will receive unparalled level of service and we are so confident of this, that in the unlikely event you are unhappy about any aspect of treatment received we will re-do the treatment ( within 1 week of initial treatment) free of charge. No refund in any circumstances. To qualify for this quarantee any problems must be reported and seen at the Beauty Secret Clinique within 48 hours of the initial treatment, so that we can confirm that an unsatisfactory treatment has been carried out.
In the event of complain Beauty Secret Clinique does require client to come in to clinique within 48 hours of the treatment being carried out, so we as company can talk to you in person to see the condition of the complain ourselves.
We will not make commintment simply over the phone.
If we agree an unsatisfactory service has been performed, we will offer to book in a re-do. The original service will not be refunded. Beauty Secret clinique will not give a cash, cheque or credit card refund for any reaspn for any services. We will work with you to resolve the complain to your satisfaction.

HOW LONG IS PERSONAL DATA HELD FOR?
We aim not to hold personal data longer than necessary.
Unless requested by an individual, the following types of data will be held for the periods shown below, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed:

One year from the end of the month in which they were received or sent unless a longer period is relevant as above. Emails to and from ex-employees or contractors will be deleted within 2 weeks of them leaving unless these form part of the employment record – see above.
WHERE IS PERSONAL DATA HELD?
Personal data about clients, financial transactions and employees are held on our secure salon software system which is backed up every day or held in secure electronic files electronically which can be accessed only by Lenka Clark. Paper records are held in a locked cabinet or in secure archive storage.
HOW IS PERSONAL DATA DELETED?
Personal data is permanently deleted in accordance with the retention periods listed above from:
