Patented PhiRemoval solution is applied to the treatment area in a similar way as manual PhiShading microblading technique, using different styles of blades to drive the solution into the skin. In this process the PhiRemoval solution is drawn into the top layer of the skin, extracting the pigment with it. You can see a visible difference immediately after treatment. The extraction continues after treatment as a scab with the pigment forms and then starts to peel off naturally as it heals.

Unlike laser removal, PhiRemoval can successfully remove or lighten whole eyeliner, even bottom liner, whole lip colour and also it removes red, white and camouflage tattoos. While lasers use targeted light to break up ink in your skin, PhiRemoval uses very fine blades to propel a removal solution deep into the skin, drawing out any ink with it.

Local anaesthetic cream is applied to the treated area prior to the treatment to numb the skin. Depending on the sensitivity of your skin you may experience a slight stinging, but most say it is painless.

This greatly depends on how much pigment there is and how deeply the pigment sits. As one colour comes out, the underlying pigment may appear, so it’s impossible to predict how many sessions you may need. Sometimes only 1 session is enough, other times, 5 or more are necessary.

PhiRemoval sessions can be performed every 4 – 6 weeks as skin needs to heal completely before and after treatment.
